2012 Form IV Frost Valley Trip

On Wednesday, January 18, Form IV joined the sophomores from the other single-sex independent schools that make up the Interschool for a three-day retreat at Frost Valley, an expansive YMCA camp facility, in Claryville, NY. Accompanying the class were eight Peer Leaders, Dean of Students, Sam Keany, Head of Upper School, Jim Reynolds and math teacher, Rebecca Vinsonhaler. Browning’s contingent, joined by tenth graders and peer leaders from Brearley, Chapin, Collegiate, Nightingale-Bamford and Spence engaged in a variety of activities, ranging from Broom Ball in a slick, snowy field, to tubing, to square dancing, to encounter sessions with facilitators brought in to lead conversations regarding school life, adolescence, and important choices each student will have to make within the social whirl of NY independent schools. The Form IV students and faculty had three great days at Frost Valley. Click here to view photos.
