On Friday, March 18th, members of the Varsity Baseball team started their spring break by traveling to Florida for the annual Spring Training trip. 21 Upper School students and four coaches headed to the Florida Coast Baseball camp in Fort Pierce for four days of fun and pre-season games against three "local" opponents: Newark Academy (NJ), Deerfield Academy (MA) and the Salisbury School (CT). The Panthers start the 2011 the defending ISAL champions and boast back-to-back playoff wins. Last season, the team earned it's first trip the the NYSAIS post-season tournament in over twenty years. With a group of young, talented and dedicated players, Browning will to be a contender in the always-tough ISAL. Click here to view photos.
