Week in Pictures, October 31-November 4

The fourth graders took a field trip to Van Cortland House Museum as part of their study of the American Revolution. They met with a "soldier" in Washington's army who showed them necessary behaviors for being a successful fighter for the cause.

The Pre-primary boys performed “Hooray for Halloween!" for the entire assemblage of Lower School boys and teachers, putting their hearts and body motions into a ‘spirited' performance! Click here to watch.

On November 1, boys in Mr. Symon's Form IV Music Survey class were treated to a matinee performance of “Aida" and guided tour of the Metropolitan Opera by Browning parent Vincent Lionti, violist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

The first graders in Ms. Kingsdale's class got down and gooey with a hands-on science activity simulating the digestive system. 

On November 2, Dr. William Anderson, a professor of chemical engineering at the University of Waterloo in Canada, deliverd a lecture to Mr. Keany's Advanced Physics class.
