BrowningConnect Online Learning Platform Launches

Both students and faculty learn best when we connect with others. In the event of a prolonged school closure, our efforts to maintain continuity of teaching and learning will not only address our boys' intellectual needs but also emphasize their social and emotional connections with others. Our lessons and activities are designed to promote student research, inquiry, collaboration, and creativity, all of which speak to both the academic and the social necessities of our boys.

Our faculty prepared this plan through participation in a customized online course which required them to learn as a student, the better to understand both the technology and the potential challenges of learning online. Through this plan, standard curriculum and assessments have been modified for online learning, but will still help boys acquire the knowledge, skills, and dispositions that are the foundation of our academic program, and will emphasize research and inquiry practices. Progress will be monitored closely to ensure a smooth transition for all students.

As we embark on this learning, we remain guided by our mission: to foster the growth of courageous and compassionate men of intellect and integrity who aspire to contribute meaningfully to our world.
